JEECUP ADMISSIONS
Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) was formed in the year 1986-87 for the admission in all the polytechnic institutions in the state by conducting admission test at the state level. Based on the nature of work, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has been assigned the responsibility to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE(P)).
UPJEE(P) is a state level examination for the candidates seeking admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
JEECUP stands for Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh.
It administers the UPJEE (Polytechnic), an entrance exam for diploma and polytechnic programs. This exam is meant for students who want to join engineering, technology, pharmacy, and other vocational courses in polytechnic institutions in Uttar Pradesh.
These institutions include government, aided, private, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) colleges

🧠 Application Process Explained:-
Mode: You can only apply online through the official website – jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

Course Groups:
The exam has different groups from A to K8, each for different diploma streams (e.g., engineering, pharmacy, agriculture).
You can choose up to 4 groups while applying.
Fees:
₹300 for General/OBC category
₹200 for SC/ST
Pay via UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or challan
Correction Window:-
If you made a mistake (wrong name, photo, etc.), you can edit your application during the correction period (May 1–6, 2025).
Exam Format and the Admit Card Admissions Card: Download from the same official website starting May 14.
You’ll need your application number and password to log in.
It’s mandatory to carry this to your exam centre – without it, you won’t be allowed in.
Exam Format:-
Computer-Based Test (CBT) – conducted online.
100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
Time limit: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
No negative marking – you won’t lose marks for wrong answers.
🔍 Answer Key & Result:-
Provisional Answer Key : Released around June 2.
You can check your answers and raise objections if you think any question is wrongly marked.
Objection fee: ₹100 per question.
Final Result:
Announced June 10.

Steps:
Online Registration: Enter your details again on the JEECUP site.
Choice Filling: Select the diploma courses and colleges you prefer.
Seat Allotment: Based on your rank and preferences, a seat is given.
Document Verification: Visit the reporting centre with your documents.
Admission Fee Payment: Confirm your seat by paying the fee.
